Ruling on dealing with a Shia Shearing meal :
Question: What do the religious scholars and muftis of Sharia say about the following issue: talking, conservation, consumption meal, dealing with, conducting marriage ceremonies, and conducting funerals with Shia people, knowing that they are Shia? How are these?
Answer:
The Almighty said, *“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and Christians as your friends.”
The point is that there are different levels of relationships. One level is the relationship of the heart, or heartfelt affection and love. This is specific to believers. This relationship of a believer with a non-believer is absolutely not permissible under any circumstances. The second level is that of sympathy, which means sympathy, goodwill, and benefit. This is permissible with all non-Muslims except for the people who are fighting Muslims. Now you can judge for yourself which category the Shia fall into. At this time, they are fighting Muslims, and dealing with them is not apperceated in Islam.
