Receiving funds from the Aga Khan organization and becoming a member of the organization.

Question: Is it permissible to obtain membership and funding from the Aga Khan Development Network, considering the following points:

(1) The Aga Khan Foundation and Aga Khan Rural Support Program are spending billions of rupees on welfare and development projects in Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, providing economic benefits to the people.

(2) Western countries are providing massive funding to the Aga Khan organizations in the name of the poor people of Gilgit-Baltistan, while poorer people in Balochistan, Sindh, and other areas are being neglected.

(3) The government of Pakistan is banning Islamic welfare organizations, while providing exemptions to Western-backed NGOs and allocating government funds to the Aga Khan organization through the Rural Support Program. In fact, the government is forcing the public to bow down to these organizations and acknowledge their gratitude, and for this purpose, government funds are being provided to the Aga Khan organization, including the provision of food for girls' schools under the Zakat program.

(4) The Aga Khan Ismailis hold esoteric beliefs and have a history of conspiracies, dating back to the time of Hasan bin Sabbah, the fall of Baghdad , and their plots against salahuddin Ayyubi of which are well-known to scholars.

(5) Details are emerging about the ismailis' current political ambitions and separatist movement in areas like takbir and others, revealing that they are working to establish an Aga Khan state in the region's most strategic location even forming their militia the Janbaaz force with the government of Pakistan supporting them due to international pressures

(6) To obtain funding from the Aga Khan organization, it is necessary to establish a village development organization in the area, which requires a membership fee to be deposited in the bank.

(7) Some people initially refused to pay the membership fee, considering it to be a form of zakat or religious donation. However, the organization changed its policy, and now the fee is deducted from the allocated funds.

Answer: The Aga Khan Ismailis are a non-Muslim, cunning, and conspiratorial group. They are thieves of faith and enemies of the country and nation. They are spreading their influence under the guise of development projects and welfare work. The public, officials, and those in power should be cautious and boycott them completely, as a sign of their faith. It is not permissible to join their organization, become a member, or accept their aid. They are spreading kufr and apostasy. It is essential to inform the public about this and advise them to avoid the Aga Khan organization completely.

(Surah Al Imran, Verse 28)

In the commentary on the above verse Al- Jassas writes:

(Ahkam al-Quran, volume. 2, page. 410)

Al-Shami also writes in Radd al-Mukhtar:
