Ruling on considering Shias as Muslims and supporting them
Ruling on considering Shias as Muslims and supporting them:
Question: What do the Islamic scholars and Muftis of Shariah say about the following issue: If Shia abuse the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH), especially the Caliphs (R.A), Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (R.A), and Sayyidah Ameer Muawiyah (R.A), then what is the ruling on a Muslim who calls such Shia as Muslims and supports them and on the contrary accuses Muslims?
Answer: It should be noted that the companionship of Sayyeduna Siddiq Akbar (R.A) and the acquittal of Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (R.A) are definitively proven by the definitive texts.
Therefore, whoever denies the companionship of Sayyidah Siddiq Akbar (R.A) or accuses Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqah (R.A) of adultery or abuses the Caliphs (R.A) is an infidel. If a Muslim considers them Muslims despite knowing their beliefs, he will also be outside the circle of Islam. He is required to renew his faith and renew his marriage.
