Ruling on participating in Taaziya Procession and to read Mursiyya and Durood etc. in Taaziya:

 Question: Is it permissible or not, to be present in this majlis, i.e., in the majlis of tazia-dari, for the purpose of mourning, and to go there and listen to the book of lamentation, recite of Fatiha and Durood?

 Answer: It is illegal for ministers to be present in these councils. Due to the fact that there is no Ziyarat in this place to go for Ziyarat. And yes, some wood which is made by Taeziyadari is not worthy of pilgrimage but it is worth erasing. So it is in Hadith Sharif.

Therefore, there is a prohibition in the Hadith Sharif about listening to this kind of lamentation. On the authority of Abi Awfi, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said on the authority of al-Marathi: That is, it is narrated that Sayyiduna Abi Awfi, may God be pleased with him, said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade the lamentation.

 Now, if there is real information in the obituary and the book, then there is no harm in listening to such obituary and the book per se, but the members of this assembly should not behave as they do heretics. Due to the fact that they are similar to the heretical group. And abstinence is necessary from the likeness of the heretics. So it is included in Hadith Sharif. Min Chahab Baqum Minham: That is, whoever compared a nation, it happened to the same people.

 And the person who organizes a meeting like the meeting of the taziehdars, then he will also enter the example of this hadith

 Man kathar swad qaum fhu mnham wardhi aam qaam kan shriklam aam: That is, the person who did more to the Jamaat of a nation, that person will also be from that nation, and whoever was pleased with the action of a nation, he will also be declared a partner in it. He will do what he does.

 And reciting Fatiha and Durood per se: It is correct, but reciting it in such a place, i.e., in the Majlis Taziyadari, becomes a kind of impoliteness. Because such a meeting is capable of being wiped out and such a meeting in which impurity is meaningful. And Fatiha and Durood should be recited in a place that is free from external and internal impurity.

 So the person who recites the Holy Qur'an and recites Durood in the prayer room will be blamed and slandered. Because of that, it will be read without delay.
