The virtuous act of charity in Rituals of condolence (Tazia Dari)
 Question;

In the state of Gwalior, the ruler and the nobles observe Tazia Dari during the month of Muharram and distribute a lot of charity for 40 days, which helps the poor and needy. If this Tazia Dari is abandoned, the poor certainly stop receiving aid. Is this correct?

Answer:It is essential that sustenance is obtained through permissible ways (Halal). Tazia rituals are Haram, and any charity or donations associated with them are also prohibited (Haram) due to non-shari'ah principles. If there is charity, it is a mixture of halal and haram. Where such immorality does not exist, the poor have not died of hunger.
