Refraining from hanging the amulets inscribed with the name of Sayidna Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ)
It is also worth understanding that commonly Shia and many Sunnis as well hang a silver amulet with the name of Sayidna Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ) (meaning- Ya Ali) around children's necks. Remember! The content of Ya Ali is also considered as polytheism, so it should be avoided because the content is as follows:
نادعليامظهرالعجائب تجده عونالك في النوائب كل هم وغم سينجلي بنوتك يا محمد وبولايتك ياعلي يا علي ياعلي:
Translation: Call Ali, the manifestor of wonders, he will help you in every calamity. O Muhammad (ﷺ), through your Prophethood, and O Ali (رضی اللہ عنہ), through your Wilayah.
Some Sunni people also hang it with great enthusiasm. So it is not permissible.
