Considering a non-Muslim (Bhangi)'s son as a Muslim and eating and drinking with him and befriending him

Question: A person considered a bhangi's son as a Muslim and ate and drank with him. Has this person become impure or remains pure? Should this person be separated from others?

Answer: By considering the Bhangi's son as a Muslim and eating and drinking with him, the Muslim did not become impure. He should not be separated from others. However, considering a non-Muslim as a Muslim is against the truth, it is a lie. And this kind of socializing with them is also not correct. Islam does not permit such friendship. It involves defamation.
