Ruling on giving bank interest to a non-Muslim
Question: Who should the interest received from a bank be given to? There is a needy non-Muslim, can we give it to him?
Answer: This amount can be given to a poor, needy, and destitute person, and they can use it for their needs. However, a poor Muslim is more deserving of this benefit compared to a non-Muslim. (Jami'-ul-Fatawa, Volume: 6, Page: 312).
