Order to perform the funeral prayer of the enemies of Islam and the Nation of Islam, bury them in Muslim graveyards and keep relations with them

The honor of Islam does not tolerate for a moment to have any kind of relationship and contact with the enemies of Islam and Nation of Islam. In the Holy Qur'an, it is ordered to completely cut off relations with such people. Therefore, it is said:

Translation: O believers! Do not make Jews and Christians your trusted friends they are each other's sincere friends, and whoever among you worships them (remember) is from among them. Verily, Allah does not guide an unjust people.

Below this verse, Hafiz al-Hadith Imam Abu Bakr al-Jasas al-Razi (رحمۃ اللہ) writes that: This verse indicates that infidel Muslims cannot be guardians (friends) neither in matters nor in aid and cooperation. And this also makes it clear that it is obligatory to absolve the infidels and keep enmity with them. Because Wilayat is the opposite of enmity, and when we are ordered to enmity with Jews and Christians because of their disbelief, then other infidels are also under their command, all infidels are one nation.

(Al-Qur'an,Volume: 2,Page: 444).

Also, in another place, the Allah says:

Translation:

And when you come across those who ridicule Our revelations, do not sit with them unless they engage in a different topic. Should Satan make you forget, then once you remember, do not sit with the wrongdoing people.

About this verse, Hafiz-ul-Hadith Imam Abu Bakr al-Jisas al-Razi (رحمۃ اللہ) writes that: This verse indicates that it is necessary for us (Muslims) to stop those the disbeliever and polytheism who speak disparagingly about Allah. If you can't stop them, give up sitting with them.

The Jurists (رحمۃ اللہ) have written that it is forbidden and sinful to give bath and shroud to an apostate in the Sunnah manner. Therefore, the Fatwa Khair is this: If a person does the funeral of a non-Muslim: If a person disregards the Masnoon matters mentioned by the scholars which are for Muslims in the preparation, takfin and burial of a non-Muslim, then he is guilty of a sin. Because without a doubt, exemption from all these matters is prohibited in favor of the disbelievers. Similarly, it is not permissible to perform the funeral prayer of an unbeliever. As Allah says in Surah Al-Tawbah:

وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاتَ اَبَدًا وَّلَا تَقُمۡ عَلٰى قَبۡرِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَمَاتُوۡا وَهُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ‏:

Translation:

And do not ever offer ˹funeral˺ prayers for any of their dead, nor stand by their grave at burial, for they have lost faith in Allah and His Messenger and died rebellious.

About this verse, Hafiz-ul-Hadith Imam Abu Bakr al-Jasas al-Razi (رحمۃ اللہ) writes that: It prohibits the funeral prayer for the death of an infidel. It is also not permissible to bury a non-believer in a proper way, rather it is not permissible to bury such a person in a Muslim cemetery. Therefore, in Dar Mukhtar Hamish Rad al-Mukhtar: it is said: The dead body of the apostate should be thrown into a pit like a dog.

Allamah Ibn Abidin (رحمۃ اللہ) further writes in Shami: that it is also forbidden for a non-believer to descend into the grave of a close relative of a Muslim (for the purpose of burial). In Kafaya Sharah Hidayah that because the displeasure and curse of Allah is raining on the grave of a disbeliever and Muslims are in need of divine mercy every moment. Therefore, the graveyard of Muslims should be kept free from them (burials of infidels). It is also in Fateh al-Qadir that if a Muslim dies. And his close relative is an infidel

Then those infidels should not take the dead body of their Muslim relative and descend into the grave, but ordinary Muslims should do this work. So they write: And he (the infidel) cannot be the guardian of his art, but instead the common Muslims should bury him.

Therefore, the jurists have specified that the infidels will not be buried in the Muslim graveyard, but will be buried separately. So in the fatwa in Khairiya is:

Uqbah bin Amir and Wasila bin Isqa say that their burial place should be separate. And such an article is also in Mabsoot Volume: No. 1, Page: No. 55 in these statements show that it is absolutely not permissible to bury an infidel and a Muslim together. Imam Bukhari writes that the graves of polytheists should be uprooted because there is no respect for them (in Islam). Unlike the Prophets (علیہ السلام) and their followers, that they are insulted in it. Elsewhere the Arqam says however, there is no problem in digging in the grave of the infidels, because there is no shame in insulting them. He further writes that: If there are graves of polytheists, they should be uprooted, because they are the palaces of punishment. In the famous book of jurisprudence: Maraqi al-Falah, it is said: If necessary, the graves of the infidels should be removed. In the light of all the above statements, it becomes clear that it is necessary to remove the body of the apostate from the Muslim graveyard. (Fatawa Khatam-e-Nabuwwat: Volume:3, Page: 21).
