من تولى عليا فقد تولاني و من تولاني فقد تولى الله عز و جل
Whoever befriends ‘Ali has indeed befriended me and whoever befriends me has befriended Allah the Mighty and Majestic.
Al Albani says, “This isnad is extremely da’if, filled with flaws.”

- Al Nasa’i and Abu Hatim made similar comments.
Ibn Hibban said, “He would narrate munkar narrations from famous narrators to the extent that it appears to the heart that he perpetrated this intentionally.”

- Al Dhahabi says, “Al Daraqutni labelled him da’if. I do not know him.”
