O ‘Ammar, when you see ‘Ali treading a valley, then tread with ‘Ali

يا عمار إذا رأيت عليا قد سلك واديا و سلك الناس واديا غيره فاسلك مع علي و دع الناس فإنه لن يدلك على ردي و لن يخرجك من الهدی

O ‘Ammar, when you see ‘Ali treading a valley and people taking another valley, then tread with ‘Ali and leave the people because he will never guide you to ruin and will never detach you from guidance.

The isnad is mawdu’. Hafiz Ibn ‘Asakir narrates it from the chain of al Mu’alla ibn ‘Abdul Rahman.[1]

A Rafidi kadhab, accused of hadith forgery.

He has acknowledged fabricating 70 ahadith in favour of Sayyidina ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib radiya Llahu ‘anhu. The original hadith is in Sunan al Tirmidhi and Sunan al Nasa’i.

Al Suyuti says, “Mawdu’. Al Mu’alla is matruk and fabricates. Abu Ayub did not attend Siffin.”[2]
