The Status of the Sahabah in the Noble Qurʼan
This book highlights the abundant virtues of the Sahabah radiya Llahu ‘anhum listed by Allah across the Glorious Qur’an for their sublime qualities and numerous achievements. The testimony of Allah subhanahu wa ta ‘ala in their favour establishes the reality of their iman as well as the glad tidings of His Mercy and Pleasure, and their everlasting comfort in the Gardens of Bliss. The verses of Allah subhanahu wa ta ‘ala also clarify beyond any shadow of doubt that these recipients of Allah’s Divine Approval were not just a small handful but rather an army of devout lieutenants and loyal disciples of the Prophet salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam; free from hypocrisy and the evil traits of the Munafiqin that were exposed by Allah subhanahu wa ta ‘ala in his Noble Book. Verily the Sahabah radiya Llahu ‘anhum are as described by Allah, “Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him, those are the army of Allah. Unquestionably, the army of Allah they are the successful.” [Al-Mujadalah: 22]
