What great foresight was Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam blessed with that he was able to discern that such malicious people will arise who will make his pure and noble companions targets of criticism. Instead of pondering over their own mistakes and weaknesses, they will search for faults amongst the first group of the pious predecessors. This is why Rasulullah salla Llahu `alayhi wa sallam said with great emphasis: “Fear Allah! Fear Allah regarding my Sahabah!
